A GummySearch alternative for finding leads on Reddit and beyond
If you used GummySearch to find people asking for what you sell, ScoutTide hands you those posts as a ranked list every morning. It is a lead list, not an audience research tool, and this page says plainly where the two differ.
GummySearch stopped taking new signups, purchases and renewals on 1 December 2025. Its own notice says the service shuts down completely on 1 December 2026, when all user data is deleted, so export anything you want to keep before then. Read the GummySearch notice
What GummySearch users can move to ScoutTide
Tracked keywords become a product description
Instead of a list of keywords, describe what you sell in plain words. ScoutTide turns that description into searches, and the AI reads every post it finds against it.
Subreddits you followed become feeds
Add a subreddit, several subreddits joined with a plus, or a Reddit search as a feed. Its posts join your Social leads with everything else.
Reddit leads, plus three more places
Posts from Reddit, LinkedIn, Stack Exchange and Upwork arrive in one list, each with a short reason why the AI thinks it fits.
Saved posts become a pipeline
Claim a lead, move it through stages, and export your list to Excel, CSV or PDF when you need it elsewhere.

What ScoutTide does not do
- No audience research. There are no subreddit analytics, audience sizes, growth charts or theme reports. If that is what you used GummySearch for, ScoutTide will not replace it.
- Not every Reddit comment in real time. Reddit posts reach ScoutTide through feeds and searches, so coverage is broad but it is not a live stream of every comment on Reddit.
- No instant alerts. You get one ranked list a day, ready each morning. If you need to reply within minutes of a post going up, ScoutTide is the wrong tool.

- Describe what you sell Write a few plain sentences about your product or service, the way you would explain it to a client. No keyword lists. ScoutTide can also read your website and suggest a description for you to check.
- Read your first list next morning The AI reads new posts and tenders against your description. By the next morning your first ranked list is waiting, each lead with its reason.

Questions from GummySearch users
Can I import my GummySearch data?
There is no importer. Export what you want to keep from GummySearch before 1 December 2026, then describe what you sell in ScoutTide and add the subreddits you followed as feeds. Most people are set up in a few minutes.
Does ScoutTide only find Reddit posts?
No. Reddit is one of four sources of social leads, next to LinkedIn, Stack Exchange and Upwork. LinkedIn and Upwork posts are found by searching the web for their public posts, with no login. Government tenders have a list of their own.
How does the AI decide what counts as a lead?
It reads each post against your description and judges whether the writer is asking for something you sell. Every match shows a short reason, and anything it sets aside stays one click away.
How much does ScoutTide cost?
Individual is $39 a month or $390 a year. Team is $149 a month or $1,490 a year. Both start with a 14 day free trial.
