The Z-2834 road, a 172.00 km strategic border route, is vital for cross-district mobility and trade. While a 128 km section between Mahishkhola (Netrokona) and Dhanua Kamalpur (Jamalpur) is complete, four links remain disconnected at the 9th, 21st, 35th, and 47th km due to river crossings (Mahadev, Ganeshwari, Someshwari, Nitai), limiting transport and economic integration.
