Get started
What ScoutTide is, signing up, and the fastest way to your first matches.
- What is ScoutTide? ScoutTide finds public tenders and social leads that fit what you sell, matched by AI to your products and sent to you every morning.
- Tutorial: from signup to your first bid Set up ScoutTide step by step: create your account, describe your organisation and products, read your first matches and start a bid.
- Sign up for ScoutTide Create a ScoutTide account with Google or with your email and a password, choose Individual or Team, and start your 14 day free trial.
- Quick setup from a tender Found a tender you like before setting up? Set it up for me fills in your setup from that tender on one screen, for you to check and save.
Your organisation and products
Tell ScoutTide what you sell. Everything it finds comes from this.
- Fill in your organisation profile Tell ScoutTide who you are. The AI reads your organisation profile, with each product, to decide which tenders and posts fit you.
- Add a product Add one thing you sell, with the phrases and countries that find tenders and social leads for it. ScoutTide scans open tenders as soon as you save.
- Find my products from your website Let ScoutTide read your website and propose your products, each shown beside the line on your site that names it. Add, edit or skip each one.
- Write good search phrases How a product's phrases find tenders, how the AI widens them, and how to choose phrases that bring in the right work and keep out the wrong work.
- Set the countries and regions you sell in Tell ScoutTide where each product can be delivered, so you see the tenders you can bid for. Choose a continent, a list of countries, or anywhere.
- Retire, restore or delete a product Pause a product with Retire and bring it back with Restore, or remove it for good with Delete. Learn what each one keeps and what it removes.
Tenders
Your queue of public tenders, how to read it, search it and apply.
- Your tender queue The Tenders tab lists the open public tenders the AI matched to your products, best match first. Learn what the queue shows and how to work it.
- Read a tender row What each part of a tender row means: the deadline box, title, buyer and country, AI score, matched product, topic chips and the row menu.
- Filter, sort and search your tenders Narrow your tender queue by closing date, product, country and more, change the order, and search the full text of every notice.
- Tender universe and saved searches Search every open tender ScoutTide holds, not only your matches, and save any search to reuse it or receive it in your morning digest.
- The tender page Open a tender to see why it matched, the key facts, how to apply, the full notice text, your documents, notes and timeline.
- Apply and bid on a tender How to go from a tender in ScoutTide to your bid on the buyer's portal, and how the tender joins your pipeline so you can track it.
- Translate a notice and keep documents Read a tender notice in your language with machine translation, and keep your own bid documents with the tender for your whole team.
Working your leads
Claim, track, keep or set aside what ScoutTide finds, and how the matching decides.
- Claim a lead and use My pipeline Claim a tender or social lead to move it into My pipeline, track it by closing date, and release it when you no longer need it.
- Set a stage and add notes Move a claimed tender or social lead through stages, record what you learn in notes, and follow its history on the timeline.
- Keep, Ignore and Not a lead Learn the difference between Keep, Ignore and Not a lead, and which one teaches ScoutTide to stop sending similar leads.
- Set aside and Put back Find everything held out of your queue, by the AI or by you, on the Set aside page, and return any of it with Put back.
- How matching works How ScoutTide finds tenders and posts for your products, what the AI match score and reason mean, and why some items are set aside.
Your own feeds
Add a procurement portal or a community ScoutTide does not read yet.
- Add a tender feed Add a procurement portal's RSS or Atom feed, and its notices join your Tenders list, matched against your products like every other tender.
- Add a social feed Follow a subreddit, forum, Stack Exchange site, web search or RSS feed, and posts that match your keywords join your Social leads.
Email and export
The morning digest, saved searches and exports to Excel, CSV or PDF.
- The morning digest ScoutTide can email you each morning with your deadlines and the new tenders that fit you. Learn what it contains and how to turn it on or off.
- Export a list to Excel, CSV or PDF Download the tenders or social leads on your screen as an Excel file, a CSV file or a PDF, with your filters, search and sort applied.
Team
Invite colleagues, assign work and see what the whole organisation is doing.
- Invite your team Invite colleagues to your ScoutTide organisation, choose their role, manage seats and let people on your email domain join automatically.
- Assign work and see the team pipeline Hand a tender or social lead to a colleague, follow every claim in the Team pipeline, and read the full history in Team activity.
- Outcomes and renewals See your win rate, who wins the work you chase, and which contracts in your field end soon so you can prepare before the re-tender.
Account and billing
Plans, the free trial, billing, sign in and language.
- Plans and the free trial The difference between the Individual and Team plans, how the 14 day free trial works, and what happens when it ends.
- Billing Subscribe, change plan, cancel or resume, update your payment method and download invoices from the ScoutTide Billing page.

Troubleshooting
Answers when something does not go as expected.
- Your confirmation email Confirm your email address to start using ScoutTide. What the email looks like, how to resend it, and what to do if it never arrives.
- No matches yet Why your tender queue is empty or thin after setup, and what to check: your products, search phrases, countries and what the AI set aside.
- Google or password sign in A ScoutTide account signs in either with Google or with an email and password, never both. How to tell which one you have and how to get in.
- Report a problem or send feedback Tell the ScoutTide team about a bug, an idea or a question with Send feedback, or by email. A person reads every message and replies.
