Outcomes and renewals
See your win rate, who wins the work you chase, and which contracts in your field end soon so you can prepare before the re-tender.
Two pages show what happens after the deadline. Outcomes tells you how your bids went and who won the work. Renewals lists contracts in your field that end soon, and who holds them now. Both are in the left menu.
Outcomes
Outcomes shows what happened to the tenders you worked on. On the Team plan it covers the whole organisation.
Win rate
The win rate needs tenders marked won or lost. ScoutTide cannot tell whether you submitted a bid, so another company winning does not mean you lost. Nothing is inferred from an award notice.
To record an outcome:
- Open a closed tender from your pipeline.
- Set its stage to won or lost.
If no outcomes are recorded yet, select See closed claims to find tenders waiting for one. The page also counts tenders that are closed, unmarked. When more closed tenders are unmarked than marked, a note warns you that the rate describes a minority of your bids.
The win rate is broken down By country and By category.
Social leads
The Social leads section counts leads you claimed and marked won or lost, and those still open. Claim a lead from Social leads and mark its outcome once you know it, and it shows up here.
Who wins the work we chase
ScoutTide fetches award notices automatically for tenders you engaged with. Each tender is checked at most once a day. Most tenders publish no result for weeks after their deadline, so expect this list to fill slowly.
The table lists each Supplier, how many Awards they took, how many times they Beat us, and when they were Last seen. Beat us counts tenders you marked as lost.
This is who beats you on the work you chase, not who wins in the market at large. Tenders nobody in your organisation touched are never checked.
Buyers and contracts running out
Buyers lists the buyers of tenders you engaged with. Buyer names are matched exactly as published, so one authority can appear under several spellings.
Contracts running out lists awards on your engaged tenders that end soon. An end date is shown only when the buyer published one, or when it can be calculated from the contract date and its stated duration. A calculated date is marked estimated.
Renewals
Renewals, titled Coming up for renewal, lists contracts in your space that end soon, and who holds them now. The useful moment is a year out, not when the re-tender appears.
The list is scoped by the search phrases on your products. If you have not described what you sell, it stays empty rather than showing the whole market.
Narrow the list
- Under Window, choose 6 months, 12 months or 18 months.
- Under Product, choose All products or one product.
- Under Sort by, choose Ending soonest, Highest value, or sort alphabetically by buyer or by current holder.
Each row shows when the contract Ends, the Buyer, who it is Held by, the product it is For, and its Value when known. Select View notice to open the original award notice.
If nothing appears, try a longer window or All products, or add or widen a product.
Smaller US contracts
Select Also fetch US contracts under $100k to search the US federal register for smaller contracts that match your product keywords. The page shows how many fetches you have left today. Results join the list when the fetch is done.
Frameworks and direct awards
Further down, two sections open when you select them:
- Bought through these agreements shows framework and dynamic purchasing activity in your space, so you can see which agreement is worth getting onto.
- Awarded without a tender notice shows work in your field that never appeared as an opportunity anyone could bid on, usually a call-off or a direct award.
