Tenders

The tender page

Open a tender to see why it matched, the key facts, how to apply, the full notice text, your documents, notes and timeline.

Open any row in your queue to see the tender page. It brings together everything you need to decide whether to bid: why the AI matched it, the key facts, how to apply and the notice itself.

Move between tenders

  • Back to tenders returns you to the list.
  • Previous and Next step through the list one tender at a time, without going back.

The top of the page

The title is the buyer's own. A long title is cut at three lines; choose Show full title to read it all. A title written in capitals is shown in sentence case. If the title was translated, a chip such as Translated from Malay sits below it. Choose it to show the original title, and choose it again to go back.

The line below names the buyer's country, the buyer and the source portal. When the tender is still open, the Apply and bid now button takes you to the official tender page. See Apply and bid.

The facts on the right

The right panel holds the facts at a glance:

  • Closing date: the date, how long is left, and the closing time in your time zone when the portal gives one.
  • Assignee and Stage: who is working on it and where it is in your pipeline. A stage saves as soon as you change it.
  • Actions: Claim this, Keep, Ignore and Not a lead. Once claimed, Release gives it back.
  • AI match: the score out of 100, the product it matches, the topics the AI read and the AI's reason in plain words.
  • Value, when the notice gives one.
  • Buyer type and Bid viability: who is buying, and whether the notice states a barrier such as prequalification.
  • Outcome: the award, once the source publishes one.
  • Documents from the buyer: links to the buyer's own files, when the source lists them.
  • Published, Procedure, Reference and Classification, when the notice gives them.

The AI match can be wrong. The notice itself always comes from the official source, so check the facts there before you bid.

The main column

Scroll down the page for the detail:

  • What this tender wants: a short AI summary of the notice. Verify it against the original before bidding.
  • How to apply: the steps to bid on the buyer's portal, with the deadline in your time. See Apply and bid.
  • Notice text: the full notice as the buyer published it. Use Translate to and Translate to read it in another language. See Translate and documents.
  • What the documents require: on some tenders, once you claim one, Read the documents lists the requirements the AI found in the buyer's files, each with its source quote.
  • Who holds this buyer's contracts today: current contracts from this buyer and similar ones, from published awards, when ScoutTide has them.
  • Documents: your own files for this tender, such as the proposal or pricing sheet.
  • Notes: what you learn about the tender. In a team, everyone in your organisation sees them.
  • Timeline: what has happened to this tender, in order.

Some sources allow only the key facts to be shown. Then the page says so, and you open the notice at the source to read it.

Claim before you work it

To set a stage or add notes, claim the tender first with Claim this. It moves to My pipeline, where you track it to the deadline. See Claim and your pipeline.
