Your account and signing in

Sign in to ScoutTide, and change your name, email, password, morning digest, language and time zone from your Account page.

Your Account page holds the settings that belong to you as a person: your name, email address, password, emails, language and time zone. Settings for the whole organisation live under Organisation instead.

Go to the sign-in page.
Select Continue with Google if you signed up with Google.
Or type your Email and Password, then select Sign in.

Google sign in and password sign in are separate ways in, and they are not linked. Use the same method you signed up with. See Google or password sign in.

If you forgot your password, select Forgot password? on the sign-in page. If you have not confirmed your email yet, the sign-in page offers Resend confirmation email.

After several unsuccessful attempts, signing in asks for a quick check that you are not a robot. Complete it below the password, then sign in again.

Open your Account page

Select your initials in the header.
Choose Account.

Subscription

Managers see Subscription at the top, with the plan's state. Select Manage subscription to open the Billing page.

Your name

Your team sees your name on claims, notes and invitations. Select Change name, type the new name and select Save.

Email address

The page shows your address and whether it is verified. A verified address is needed to accept team invitations.

If you sign in with a password, select Change email and type the new address. ScoutTide sends a confirmation link to the new address. Until the change is confirmed and takes effect, you keep using your current address. The page shows the date it changes, and Cancel this change withdraws it.

If you sign in with Google, your address comes from Google. Change it there and it updates here at your next sign-in.

Password

If you sign in with a password, select Change password. Type your Current password and the new one, then select Save new password. Every other session is signed out.

If you sign in with Google, there is no ScoutTide password.

Morning digest

The Morning digest is sent at 07:00 UTC, and only when there is something to report. The page shows what time that is where you are. Choose On or Off. See Morning digest.

Daily limit emails

Daily limit emails sends you an email when your organisation reaches its daily AI review limit, with how to get more. You get at most one a day. Choose On or Off.

Language and time zone

Language sets the language ScoutTide shows you. It follows your account, so it is the same on every device. See Language.
Time zone sets the zone for deadlines, Today and Tomorrow, and every date. Choose Browser time zone to follow your browser.

Your data

Select Download under Your data to get everything ScoutTide holds about you as one JSON file.

Leave or delete

These are under Danger zone.

Leave this organisation: your account and history move to a fresh workspace of your own, and your claims are released. The new workspace starts without a free trial.
Delete your account: this cannot be undone. Work owned by your organisation stays but stops naming you. If you are its last member, the workspace closes with you. You confirm by typing your email address, and ScoutTide may ask you to prove it is you first.

If you are the only manager of an organisation with other members, make someone else a manager before you leave or delete your account.
