What is ScoutTide?

ScoutTide finds public tenders and social leads that fit what you sell, matched by AI to your products and sent to you every morning.

ScoutTide finds work for what you sell. You describe your organisation and your products once. ScoutTide then reads open public tenders and public conversations every day, and keeps the ones that fit.

What it finds

ScoutTide finds two kinds of opportunity.

  • Tenders are formal notices from public buyers. Each has documents and a deadline, and you answer it with a bid on the buyer's portal.
  • Social leads are posts where people talk about the same work informally, often earlier, and often at private companies that never publish a tender. They come from places like Reddit, Hacker News, Stack Exchange and community forums.

Each kind has its own tab: Tenders and Social leads. If you bid for public contracts, you will spend most of your time in Tenders. If you sell to businesses, or freelance, Social leads may bring you more. Many teams use both.

How it decides what fits

Everything ScoutTide finds is matched against your products. Each product has a name, a short description, the phrases a buyer would write, and the countries where you can deliver.

  1. Search phrases find candidate tenders and posts.
  2. The AI reads each candidate against your organisation and product, and gives it a score with a reason in plain words.
  3. Good fits go into your queue, best match first. The rest are set aside with the reason, so you can check them and put any back.

The tender data itself, such as titles, dates and values, is copied from the official source. It is never written by the AI. See How matching works for the detail.

Nothing works until you have saved at least one product. ScoutTide has nothing to look for until it knows what you sell.

What you do with it

  • Open a tender to see why it matched, the closing date, the documents and how to apply.
  • Claim a tender to move it to My pipeline, then track its stage and notes until you win or lose.
  • Mark work that is wrong for you as Not a lead, so similar tenders stop arriving.
  • Search every open tender ScoutTide holds, not only your matches, with the Tender universe switch.
  • Get a morning digest email with new matches and tenders closing soon.
  • On the Team plan, invite colleagues, assign tenders and see the team pipeline.

Plans and the free trial

There are two plans: Individual, for one person working alone, and Team, for colleagues who work together in one workspace. Both start with a 14 day free trial, and no card is needed. See plans for what each includes.
