Find my products from your website

Find my products reads your website and proposes the products you sell. Each proposal sits beside the exact line from your website that names it, so you can check it at a glance. Nothing is added until you say so.

Before you start

• Only a manager can add products. On the Individual plan, that is you.
• Add your website address to your organisation profile and save. Find my products reads that address. Without one, the button takes you to the Website field instead, with the message: Find my products reads your website. Add its address here and save, then press Find my products again.
• Each product you add uses a product slot on your plan. When every slot is in use, the button is not shown.

Steps

1. Open the menu under your initials and choose Organisation, then Products in the settings rail.
2. Press Find my products. ScoutTide shows its progress while it reads your site and drafts products.
3. On Review what it found, read each proposal. You see the product name, Keywords it will match on, the line it came from under From your website, and What the AI judge will read.
4. If a proposal is right, press Add this product.
5. If it is nearly right, press Edit before adding. It opens in the product form. Change it, then press Save & rescan.
6. If it is not something you sell, press Not this one.
7. Press Done when you have finished.

What happens next

Each product you add is created straight away, and ScoutTide scans the open tenders against it. You see Added: followed by the product names. Their tiles on the Products page fill in their counts when the scan finishes, and the AI then reads the tenders closest to them.

Proposals from an earlier reading

If ScoutTide has read your site before, it may show the proposals from that earlier reading. The page says so. If your site has changed since, press Re-read the site now.

If nothing is found

You may see one of these messages:

• Nothing on that site read as a product. Add one by hand, it takes a minute.
• Nothing usable could be read from that site. Add a product by hand.
• The AI is not reachable right now. Try again shortly, or add a product by hand.
• You have used the website assistant a lot this hour. Try again later, or add products by hand.

In each case you can add a product by hand. It takes a minute.

Fill one product from its own page

Find my products reads your whole site. To draft a single product, open the product form, paste that product's page into Website and press Fill from website. Fields you already wrote are never overwritten.
