Sign up for ScoutTide

Create a ScoutTide account with Google or with your email and a password, choose Individual or Team, and start your 14 day free trial.

Signing up takes a minute. Every plan starts with a 14 day free trial, and no card is needed.

Choose your plan

There are two plans.

  • Individual is for one person working alone. Your private workspace is ready the moment you are in.
  • Team is for colleagues who work together. Each person has their own role, and you invite your team after signing up.

When you open the signup page, the Individual plan is chosen for you. If you are signing up for a team, choose Signing up for a team? Choose Team. If you came from plans, the plan you picked there is already chosen.

Sign up with Google

  1. Open the signup page.
  2. Choose Sign up with Google.
  3. Pick your Google account.

Your address is confirmed by Google, so you go straight in. From then on, you sign in with Google. See Google or password sign in.

Sign up with email and a password

  1. Open the signup page.
  2. Type your work email under Email.
  3. Type a password under Password. Choose Show if you want to check what you typed.
  4. Optionally, open Add your name and company (optional) and fill in Your name and Company name.
  5. Choose Create account.

Your name appears on your work. Left empty, ScoutTide uses the start of your email address, and you can change it later in your account. The company name becomes the name of your workspace.

You land on a page called "Confirm your email to start". ScoutTide has emailed you a link. Open your email app and choose the link to activate your account. See Your confirmation email.

Use a permanent email address. Signups from throwaway mailboxes are refused, because those mailboxes stop receiving our emails.

If you already have an account

Choose Already have an account? Sign in at the top of the signup page.

If you sign up again with an address that already has an account, nothing new is created. ScoutTide emails that address instead, with a Sign in button and a reminder of how to get in.

If you were invited

A colleague on the Team plan can invite you by email. Open the link in the invitation. The address is fixed by the invitation, so you only add your name and a password, typed twice, and you join their workspace as soon as the account is created.

After you sign up

Setup has two short steps: your organisation, then the products you sell. ScoutTide starts looking for tenders as soon as you save your first product. Follow the tutorial from Part 3, or, if you signed up from a tender, see Quick setup from a tender.
