Tenders

Tender universe and saved searches

Search every open tender ScoutTide holds, not only your matches, and save any search to reuse it or receive it in your morning digest.

Your queue shows the tenders matched to your products. Sometimes you want to look wider: a buyer you know, a keyword your products do not cover, or a market you are thinking of entering. That is what the Tender universe is for. Saved searches let you come back to any view in one click.

Search the Tender universe

The switch beside the search box chooses where you search:

  • My products: the tenders the AI matched to what you sell.
  • Tender universe: every open tender ScoutTide holds, beyond your products. That is about 250,000 tenders, and the switch shows the current count.

To search it:

  1. On the Tenders tab, set the switch to Tender universe.
  2. Type a keyword, for example records management.
  3. Press Enter or choose Search.

The Tender universe lists nothing until you type a keyword. Search looks through titles, buyers and the full notice text. A line above the results tells you how many open tenders contain your search.

Narrow the results with the filters on the left, such as country, closing date or category, and change the order with Sort by. These work as they do in your queue. See Filter, sort and search.

If you keep finding good tenders here, add a product or search phrase for that work. See Search phrases.

Once you filter, sort or search, Save search appears above the list.

  1. Set up the view you want to keep: filters, sort and keywords.
  2. Choose Save search.
  3. Type a name you will recognise.
  4. Leave in digest switched on to receive new matches for this search in your morning digest, or switch it off.
  5. Choose Save.

A search on the Tender universe stays out of your digest. The digest lists your matches only, so a Tender universe search is saved as a bookmark.

If you already saved the same search, ScoutTide tells you its name instead of saving it twice.

Use your saved searches

Your saved searches are listed in the left rail of the Tenders tab under Saved searches.

  • Choose a name to open that view again, with its filters and keywords.
  • Use the digest switch beside a name to include it in your morning digest or stop it.
  • Use the cross beside a name to delete it. Its filters and its place in your digest go with it.

Saved searches are your own. Colleagues keep their own lists.

Saved searches and your digest

When you have saved searches in your digest, they decide what counts as new for you each morning. New tenders that fit any of them reach your inbox. See Morning digest.
