Email and export
Export a list to Excel, CSV or PDF
Download the tenders or social leads on your screen as an Excel file, a CSV file or a PDF, with your filters, search and sort applied.
You can take any list out of ScoutTide: to share with a colleague who has no account, to plan bids in a spreadsheet, or to import into your own system. An export holds the same rows you see on screen, with your filters, search and sort applied.
Export a list
- Open the list you want: Tenders, Social leads or Set aside.
- Filter, search and sort it until it shows the rows you need.
- Choose Export above the list.
- Pick a format.
The three formats hold the same rows:
- Excel: formatted, ready to sort and filter.
- CSV: plain data, for importing elsewhere.
- PDF: opens a print view. Choose Save as PDF.
To export only tenders closing this week, choose within 7 days under Closing soon first, then export.
Excel
The Excel file opens with a heading line that names the list, the date you exported it and how many rows it holds. Columns are formatted so you can sort and filter them in your spreadsheet straight away. Dates follow your own time zone, as they do on screen.
CSV
A CSV file is plain text, one row per tender, and suits imports into a CRM or another tool. A tender export has these columns:
- closing_date and days_left
- ai_score
- title and title_en, the English title when the original is in another language
- buyer, country and category
- viability
- source and procedure
- value and currency
- url, the link to the notice
- product, the product the AI matched
- ai_reason, the AI's reason in plain words
A social leads export has title, posted_by, site, published_date, ai_score, intent, url, title_en, product and ai_reason.
New columns are only ever added at the end, so an import you have set up keeps working.
- Choose Export, then PDF. A print view opens in a new tab.
- Choose Save as PDF at the top of the page.
- In your browser's print dialog, choose Save as PDF as the destination.
- Save the file.
The print view lists the title, buyer, country, closing date, days left, AI score, value and source of each tender, and notes that it was exported from scouttide.com.
Long lists
Very long lists are cut. The file's heading line then says it holds the first rows of a longer list. Narrow your filters to export the rest in parts. The PDF print view holds fewer rows than Excel, and says so when it stops early; take Excel for the full list.
What is in an export
- Only the rows of the list you are on, with the filters and search shown on screen.
- The order you chose with Sort by.
- On a Tender universe search, the tenders that search finds.
The export itself does not change anything in ScoutTide. Nothing is claimed, kept or set aside.
